I always find characters who are completely convinced that the original story is some unavoidable fate to be incredibly annoying. Especially when they've already done things that don't match the OG story and are completely fine. It makes me think that they are incapable of critical thinking. The premise of the story, her publishing a book makes no sense at all. MC was someone who was bedridden for years and the first thing she does is publish a book? When she is the daughter of a wealthy count who adores her and does not have any real need to do so. She doesn't even seem to be particularly interested in writing so this just comes off as a very forced way to move the plot along. The MC's very blasé attitude towards using a real life person as a character in her book, even using their name, without their permission is very unlikeable. You would think that someone from the modern world would have more care towards another person's privacy. But no. She is completely okay with it, until she realises that it might have consequences for HER. What makes it worse is that she insists that she didn't want to get involved with the main characters. Overall I can't really recommend this story.
