So, I had to make this review as so many bash on Ain's mother for using her Dryad powers to create Ain and trick the Roundheart family. This is true to an extent but missing a lot of important details. Yes, she did use her powers to trick the Roundheart family head but he is unaware of this and believes the child to be his and still treated him this way. The issue I have with the reviews is it glosses over the fact the agreement was with the previous head of the family, and as soon as he passed, the current head started acting different and caused her extreme worry, hence her actions. Not like the guy even knows and its not like she cheated on him.
Later on in the story, these reasons are why the Ishtallica Royal Family has no desire to pursue hostilities, while the Roundheart family and the countries royal family act like victims throughout the mediation. While ultimately, they were the ones to violate the treaty and even humiliated a princess from a much more powerful nation. They deserve much worse for how they treated Ain and Olivia.
Even later in the series, it is basically insinuated that the Red Fox tribe that drove the demon lord insane, is also deeply influencing the Roundheart family and the Royal Prince who accuses Ishtallica of kidnapping Claude and her grandfather, to cause the issues shown in the first chapters. If people had read beyond 100 chapters, maybe they would have accurate reviews
[collapse]This is actually one of my favorite series for the isekai genre. Though, they do gloss over a lot of plot holes that will be addressed much later in the story. The world is detailed and very well developed with plenty of slice of life, action, drama, etc. Please give this series a fair shake if you like the premise and intro chapters. Though there will be a lot of information left out throughout the story, it will be explained later through the story development.
