He was supposedly in love with the original host but he took another woman as his consort. That woman killed the child he had with his "love" but he doesn't punish her at all. I don't give a d*amn about how gateful to her he is for saving his life. How could he forgive the mu*derer of his child? He still had some 20% or something affection for her. The original host died alone but what does he do? Nothing! He was waiting for her to come out! Like you scum, beg for her forgiveness. And when MC almost died because of the villain's brother. The ML just banishes him. Atleast throw him in prison or something. He was in love with the original host but he suddenly fell in love with MC. His love is so fickle. Even in the Abstinent Beast God Pampered Princess Arc, the villainess for whom (again) the ML has some affection for hurts the MC again and again but he does what he always do. Nothing :) He lets her go and starts drinking to drown his sorrows.
[collapse]In some arcs the ML was pretty good like the Indifferent Campus King, Weak Kings Seventh Princess Consort & Game God. I liked him in these arcs. These arcs should be at the beginning so the reader could have a good first impression of the ML.Next is the MC. How to put it... She is kind of useless. She almost dies in every arc. Has no redeeming talent. She just blushes and chases the ML. Doesn't do anything to the villains apart from saying a few words and waits to get attacked. Can't save the ML properly. Her personality in the first arc almost made me puke. So what if the villain is not pretty. She didn't make her own face, ok?Compared to her Ning Shu from Cannon Fodders Record of Counterattack is so cool. She knows her limits, gets beat up in the beginning so she works hard, learns tricks, make her enemies suffer, plans ahead and even if she doesn't completely owerpower the other person she still manages to coolly completes her tasks. What that story teaches her is that a woman can still be strong and successful even without the help of any ML. Love is not everything. It shows a woman fighting for her country, career, her children & herself not just love.On the other hand, this Luo Qing... *sigh* If I wanted to counterattack and get revenge, she wouldn't be my choice. The story is not so bad but after reading alot of excellent transmigration stories, this one is not on my favourites list.
