The author doesn't seem to know how to create good structured story arcs. As a result, it felt like too much side tracking, for example, dungeon inside dungeon inside side quest. The characters are all unlikable. Humanity is capable of both great kindness and terrible cruelty. But here, it seems all one dimensional. The main character is OP though and he can't be accused of being goody two shoes or beta male.
