An easy-going novel, I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle the cringy options for too long, but MC handles it super well and you don't get the romance shoved down your throat. It is a slow and understandable process. She is very cute and proudly shows off how lazy she is.It's a little superficial here and there, and I feel quite annoyed how they used "half-breed" to describe someone (even as an insult), but it's no news that people in China are brainwashed into being xenophobic.But I do believe it's worth a read if you want a relaxing novel.
