Awkward Chapter -- Discussion

Ye Mu is with Yan Chen for 8 years, helping with his company and making sacrifices for him but the moment his white moonlight, Gu Hai comes back, Yan Chen kicks Ye Mu out of his own villa and bankrupts the Ye family to satisfy GH. Spoiler

Ye Mu is pathetic and still lets Yan Chen walk all over him and answers his calls hoping things have changed while Yan Chen doesn’t want to admit that he’s having trouble letting go despite getting married to GH. Ye Mu finds a job and eventually gets together with his boss Chen Mo.

I feel like Yan Chen didn’t suffer enough tbh and at the end it seemed shitty that Ye Mu was making Chen Mo suffer when Ye Mu was the one who participated in sending him to prison when he was young because Yan Chen asked him to. Chen Mo wasn’t even the scum gong, why was he suffering??? Ye Mu kept talking to Yan Chen throughout and still had lingering feelings but when it comes to Chen Mo he can finally grow some balls and leave without saying a word and firmly resist getting back together? I definitely liked the first part more than the last part but I still enjoyed it overall.
