- This novel has a unique premise for the an isekai and a well written albeit generic/generally predictable story.
- The author makes the character easy to understand and have believable actions and motivations. Though one character introduced in the later untranslated chapters feels rather bland compared to the main duo.
- The meta bulletin board interludes can be hit or miss for some people but they were a resounding success for me since I found them both comedic and a needed breather checkpoint after each dramatic event in the story.
- I think what will make or break this novel for most people would be how much they care and sympathize for the MC and his situation. I can already imagine some people finding him to be too beta for their taste but I think that the events that led to his current predicament were well executed and made it realistic. I honestly felt real emotion and heartache when the first big plot twist was revealed which changed the MC's outlook significantly.
- All in all, nothing ground breaking but a novel that's elevated by great writing.
