There's nothing wrong with this novel, but it is a bit flat and boring. MC doesn't really struggle or make big plans. Also the large amount of named side characters in the tournament arc is difficult to keep track of. Especially with the commentators rattling off their names and trying to talk about the players. I put a lof of effort into trying to remember the players and commentators as they are introduced (as well as their relationships among each other that keep getting brought up). Yet so far who they are doesn't even seem to matter... could have been named passerby A.. still upset about how much I tried to connect the dots for no payoff.
