Warning: very bland there is absolutely no character development throughout the entire book. I am seriously considering dropping this novel. There are no emotions and everything carries on with too robotically. SPOILER! For instance, her former company exposed her engagement with the Song Lie and her response was to calmly sit down and wish for Gu Ren. No minor panicking or stress, just casually staring into space. At this point it would be better if some form of emotion was shown even if it means crying a little and showing vulnerability. However, our protagonist is not built like that, she’s a steel ball of joy that somehow only flutters slightly every twenty chapters. It’s those novels where the author wishes for their protagonists to have every superpower known to man then magically fall in love and birth twins with the same powers (over dramatic but you get the point).
