Yikes, this story started pretty average, good for a calming read. There was actually an interesting twist to the plot, but that was over-shadowed by the author's over-indulgence into the ML's goddamn cold, wintery, jade fir tree like existence. Even when Ye Zhi is meeting dramatic events it's all about the ML's snow emperor existence. Really, really f*cking exhausting and bad. Feels like bad fanfiction.
