I'm going to be honest. I would have give this novel 4 stars if the story actually forget the main plot of the story. But I'm glad they don't!What is good in this novel is MC and ML.While the storyline was decent at best.There's part that unrealistic but also somewhat unnecessarily cruel in a way.The part where MC's Bio Mom reveal that the OG!FL was her Adopted Daughter public/press conference.Spoiler
Yes OG FL is the Villainness in this novel. Spoiled, Greedy, Selfish and Schemer.
And the Bio Mom doing those with the Assumption of the Villainness know what had happened to her real daughter and one of the Evil people behind it.
Sure she DOES know from the start what had happened, but what the Mom did only based on ASSUMPTIONS. IF the Villainness doesn't actually know that, what the Mom did was truly Bad. Sure you could call it Karma because she's a Selfish Egoistic bad person, but in normal society's view, it's Morally wrong.
I don't feel bad for her. But it also hard to feel bad for the Bio Mom either or think her actions was right.
[collapse]Anyway if you search for some Family Feels or Family Angst whatsoever in this novel, it's not for you!The Family things for the second plot feels Flat with no real Emotions. I can't feel sad nor feel bad. It's a meh.The only good things really just MC and ML. And well... ML's family in general. They're friendly though barely appear. Them being good person make us feel good.And yes, the story was decent at best. Only few parts was Great, and those mostly when MC unintentionally faceslap villains.Yes, the Faceslapping are unintentionally. The only intentional moment to cause the villains suffer was the serious slightly intense plot about the past kidnapping and the future threat one.It's not even a Faceslapping novel either.It does get boring some times. And I would really give it low rating if not for the fact the Main big plot in the title get mentioned again, and then things get more exiciting!Yes, after that things really get exiciting. After that it was fluff.So for the story it was 4/5. Main Characters are 4/5. MC and ML are good, but they're not exciting enough either.So I give it 5 stars for the final arc and the Translation!
