this isn't as bad as I was fearing, what with the dense protagonist tag (i hate idiot MC). The MC seems to be pretty smart, he's just young and inexperienced and the ML is usually 10-15 years older than him in each of the worlds. Which, now that I think about it, is pretty typical in Asian romance novels, whether BL or BG.
