It can be a bit annoying at the start, but I think it was around c4-c6 that it got better. MC started to have actual character development.

It's easy to tug at my heartstrings, I feel for the character. But I easily get annoyed by different characters who can't express themselves properly especially if it's multiple times in a row. That's what I got annoyed on at the start

First, the childhood friend chapter 1, chapter 2 was someone getting tutored, chapter 3 or 4 was the kouhai? They piled up a lot of misunderstandings and it was in a row so that ticked me off. But I'm easy to please anyway as long as they did it just fine, I'm giving it a 5* due to how the MC is rn. He just started to move forward as well as another character (not specifying which to avoid spoilers).
