Pretty good! Maybe a 4.3 or 4.5?MC tries to stop her gold-digging mother from marrying a psycho by teaming up with his son. This family of gold diggers is quite funny haha.The relationship between the MC and ML is very cute and sappy. The character development is good, and I liked all of the main cast. The plot isn't super intricate, but the worldbuilding is unique. Though the author doesn't get wordy, this story does contain some heavy topics like child ab*se, classism and upward mobility, and adoptive families.If you like familial relationships, the ones here are pretty cute (other than the evil fathers).Give it a try!
