Good but not great. The introductory chapters paint a gorgeous picture of this bizarre horror/mystery world that gets forgotten about shortly after the first arc ends. The author eventually leans more into 'edgy protagonist' cringe and rampant misogyny.More on the misogyny: Not one single female character in this novel is portrayed positively by the author. The insane protagonists reasonable hatred/fear of beautiful women turns into author incel-esq descriptions of every woman. I’ll likely be dropping this soon just due to how the author is recently using the MC in deeply disturbing ways to humiliate and degrade women.
