The romance is slowburn as they only get to kiss after the middle of the novel, and the scenes are so "kicking the air and giggling" inducing it makes the wait worth it. ML is adorably doting on MC 🥺🥺

MC has a lazy, "i just want to exist" personality that changes when (spoiler for arc 1) happens. He has two states, the lazy one and the one that only activates when he's near-death, and it's when the most badass kicking moves happens, he's cold and calculative, harming himself if it means he gets to kill the monsters, all in all a very exciting experience

All the side characters have a place in my heart. The author created little theaters in their povs and it's so heartbreaking how a little sentence in the main story can be developed into a trauma or the longing of people past gone in the little theaters. They're my favorite part and are essential to the novel

Besides that, the worldbuilding is so 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻. If you like good worldbuilding based on science and stuff you'll love this novel. Author uses a lot of physics term to explain her world and it's fiction, but it's so satisfying when fiction has a logic ❤️❤️❤️
