It's chill but interesting. He has knowledge of the future but not so much that it makes him invincible. The pace is slow but it's partly because it doesn't just drop out the side characters and back story. It doesn't feel tedious and always feels like the story is progressing.The early possessive actions of the ML are a bit cute because the MC is completely oblivious to their meaning. The reader just gets to think, 'oh ho, I see what you did there'.
