Despite his future knowledge, the MC experiences setbacks and also meets people who are better businessmen than him. I loved this and it made it highly realistic. I also liked how the MC was true to character throughout the story. In his last life, he was a normal law-abiding citizen and it's shown in this life too- he doesn't do anything illegal to deal with his adversaries and at most dabbles in grey areas.I loved how jealous the ML got. When he kept on wearing the leather jacket he got from the MC, no matter rain or shine, I found it really cute. It's also funny how everyone thought the MC and ML were enemies. There wasn't any angst in the MC and ML's relationship. Some of the parts of the story did get boring to read. For example, when early on the MC was reminiscing on the difference between the current Yan city and the buildings that would pop up in the future- it didn't need to be so detailed.Nevertheless, it was an interesting and engaging read. However, I had to drop this afterSpoiler
Qi Kai was rescued at the border of Myanmar by the police.
[collapse]I didn't find it interesting after that, so I didn't have the patience to read the rest of the extras. Note: the MTL is quite hard to understand in this story.
