She already fell in love twice. A lot of things can happen in 10 years. Surely, in those 10 years she wasn't always fighting. Anyway, it's just a personal thing to me. I've always hated this kind of romance. I'm not saying the Manga is bad and Alita sucks. The Manga is still cool and I liked Alita before Hugo. It's just my opinion.

Alita decides she wants to meet Kaos since he might have information on Den of Barjack. As they're traveling and getting closer to Barjack territory, Alita and Koyomi end up falling into a sinkhole and getting washed away underground. Alita damages her lungs in an attempt to create oxygen to save Koyomi from dying. They end up getting saved by Kaos and he explains some things about himself to them, but the most interesting thing about him is his psychometry ability. He's able to touch objects and read its "memories". This is how he's been able to learn things from the historical artifacts he's been gathering. He ends up touching Alita, but what he learns overwhelms him. Maybe now Alita can start getting some answers about herself and her past. Kaos also uses his ability to learn how to fix her from Ido's perspective, but in doing so, it causes Kaos to find feelings for her. Hmm? That was a really unexpected ending. Hopefully Alita doesn't fall in love with this guy too.
