So I absolutely adore guideverse stories. To me, it kinda feels like a soulmates and compatibility trope with a dash of obsession. Its also really rare to have a straight couple guideverse, so I had high hopes for this story. However, I didn't like how this FL treated her esper. Like yes he kidnapped her, but he wouldve literally died by rampage if she wasnt around. People who are desperate have done far worse than confinement. Maybe its because ive read too many isekai novels but being confined to what is essentially a high end resort is par for the course when being summond to another world.There's this entitlement that she walks around with that rubs me the wrong way. Its giving "emotionally abusive" vibes. She literally contemplated bonding with him just so she could break that bond and cause him to erupt till he dies. She has all this knowledge about ethics in guide/esper relationships from her training and she uses this against him to extract knowledge and manipulate him into helping her.The other reviews I read were upset about her not sticking up for herself but I never felt that. To me, she came off as spoiled and entitled due to her s class ranking. Thank God she only had a 0% compatibility with earth's espers cause she would've been a nightmare.I'm dropping this, it has a harem tag and if it hasn't won me over with the first ML it's not gonna grab me with the others.
