This relationship makes sence. There was chemistry between them from the moment they were tied up at the top of the building. It's raining fishes. What? This was a nice volume. I enjoyed it more than i expected.

so Alita is in love with Figure? And they're together now apparently? Is it just me or does that come out of nowhere? I can see why she'd like him based on his beliefs and his spirit but at no point did I ever get the feeling she liked him in a romantic sense until the very end. I feel like it's so weird that for how scared she is of getting close to people out of the fear she'll lose them (which is something she told Figure when they first met and I think is the reason she loves fighting since it let's her block out her trauma, and it makes sense since up to this point she's lost nearly everybody she's loved) that she opened up to Figure surprisingly fast. Whatever I guess.



RIP Yorg. he's a bitch but I understand why he did the things he did.

Knucklehead wants to fight Alita 1 vs. 1, but Figure Four comes out of nowhere and destroys him instantly. Alita tries to kiss him (why?), But they get interrupted by Yorg and the Colonel. Yorg has been turned into a grunt soldier. He ends up dying in the fight along with the Colonel.

Alita and Figure Four continue on their journey through the desert until they're at the point of grave danger, at which point they receive help from Zalem. I guess she didn't lose communication. They just left her to see what would happen. What she would do. I guess she's passed their test.

Primarily a battle manga...yet casually references Nietzsche and Faust with no shame.  I approve!
