Characters are super flat. MC is infuriating - there's being a passerby and there's being a wilting white lotus. He has no characteristics whatsoever besides being a pushover. ML is only obsessive and entitled and ends up sexually assaulting the MC under the guise of "being unable to control himself anymore." Absolutely no chemistry other than the ML's flat, unexplainable obsession. They are an absurdly poorly matched pair - certainly never make the mistake of thinking they're equals or even both humans. If you're going to do this trope, at least do it with a little more authenticity. This kind of depiction falls flat on all levels and goes so far as to evoke strong disgust in readers. Look at me writing this review. The original FL of the "novel" has the most realistic character depth of anyone so far (that is to say, a piece of cardboard instead of paper.) Would actively discourage spending any time at all on this farce of a novel. One extra star for translator's efforts in what is a truly baffling endeavor to translate this kind of writing.
