Honestly, I'm finding it super cute and entertaining! The protagonist isn't s*upid per se, but he's nowhere near a genius. I think he's viewed as s*upid because he's weak and careless, but that's who he is and I don't mind those type of protagonists. I wanted to read something 'lighthearted', so having a weak and unreliable protagonist was what I needed. He works to get stronger, but while his luck is super good (cannonically in the novel), he isn't naturally strong and relies on his background (super rich with lots of items) and the male lead, which I find super endearing. Basically, if you want a tough and OP MC, this is 100% not for you. I find weak protagonists okay, so it didn't affect me.Now, for the side characters and male lead himself, I actually like all of them! The 'shixiongs' of the MC have their personalities and are all protective over him since he's weak, and the male lead is a bit like a tsundere. He's cold to everyone, but regarding the MC, he'll still act cold but then will say something considerate.TLDR read if you want a bubbly, weak, and light hearted MC + strong, ruthless, but kind to MC ML.
