QY takes over cannon fodder Jorah in the midst of a raid by interstellar pirates. The original J would have abandoned the 'unknown' old doctor to escape alone. The protagonist is the pirate Apollon, an abandoned illegitimate son of an Empire Princess and a Federation Official. His fleet Flamingo creates a weapon to wipe out the federation as his first step to taking over the universe as revenge. QY's lover in this world is Chris Delaware, the First Legion General who 'betrays' the Federation to join Flamingo as an undercover agent. He becomes QY's torturer until the mission ends. CD kills Apollon at the end of this painful week. J was abandoned by his childhood friend fiancé who chased a military omega. J's restored reputation causes the new omega to dump the scum man. Ironically the omega then decides to pursue J. The moment where J sings the national anthem in the middle of torture is particularly moving. The author shows much respect for the military and nationalistic ideals here, but it's handled okay. This arc is a interstellar fantasy setting and is NOT high-key disparaging of every country that isn't Z Country. The arc ends with a wave of positive change for omega rights. ML steals ownership of this smutty world from QY.

QY is a bad actor whose beautiful face managed to balance a powerful six person harem. Reborn Bai Xiyan is angry at being scorned by Deng Yunqi, one of the six suitors. QY gets turned into a plaything in the plot as BX shoots to the top of the entertainment industry. QY meets a drugged Ning Qianyuan before the protagonist can take advantage. NQ misunderstands QY and has an extremely rocky pursuit. BX is played to the point he feels actual regret for letting his obsession overtake his chance at happiness. A little odd that no one in this arc seems to have parents or family. The way six suitors get tamed into legitimate fans is quite pleasing.

This arc is a turning point for the main couple. They face many crises that have nothing to do with zombies. QY's soul strength rebounds and locks him to the memories of a toddler. QY's lover, the protagonist Shang Feng, has a bad impression of QY. QY feels mind r*ped by his younger self's sincerity. Saving this world requires sacrifice, etc. The antagonist is actually cannon fodder. QY is too focused on his anger at SF to care. These obstacles turn into a great catalyst for their feelings. QY prevents ML from snatching this world.

Shen Mingye is the orphaned son of a powerful family who can't see true face of distant relative Feng Fei Ming who steals both his rightful inheritance and his fiancé. SM retrieves his family seal from an underworld organization to overturn the plot. 40y old Ahaz Elmond finally seems to carry some memory of Qy into this world.

The first prince is somewhat similar to QY as a persecuted misunderstood 'villain' who has been slandered by his third brother. The accomplished General loyal to the emperor supports the third prince per the degree. Plot derails when the General falls in love with the disguised QY and decides to rebel to push this 'gongzi' to the throne. The character of the emperor was nicely handled and this arc ended on an amusing note.

A continent attacked by demons is determined to call the feared guardian dragon Morris to drive off the invaders. They sacrifice the most beautiful in the land to the mad dragon searching for his 'treasure'. The princess' suitor is not okay with this, so he finds slum boy Joyce who has the same appearance and healing power as the princess to be a stand-in. ML reluctantly accepts his attraction to this 'female'. J saves the continent despite the princesses interference and becomes a deity. Dao has stopped overt actions, but the sneaky move to hide MC's gender caused a real issue. ML injured his soul causing psychological issues in his assumed character.

Xiang Chengyu (XCy) learned violin in the orphanage and was adopted by a musician couple. They pushed for results to the point of ab*se. He is deaf in one ear due to a blow from his 'father'. The parents found their biological son Xiang Chengjin (XCj) and XCy discovered what true parental affection should look like. The indifference of his parents wore down his creativity and talent. XCj would steal XCy's compositions to show off to their parents. XCj intentionally approaches XCy's crush Wei Shiang. ML has mental issues again as 'Bipolar' Wei Changxiu. Author acknowledges differences between her story and the real BP disorder.

The dao takes a two pronged approach to eliminate one before they can save their partner. QY enters a dead body in a completely different way due to infiltrating a world out of his jurisdiction. He joins a competition that will allow him to meet the ML if he wins. The big truth: ML is a non-human emperor of a vast world created when he escaped the Dao's control as a former protagonist. The damage he did to the Dao is what made it target QY with such extreme methods. ML realized the Dao was up to something and disguised himself as a weapon at the side of the new target. He did everything in his power to protect the child without revealing himself to the enemy. He planned to help QY take back control and escape the dao as well. How their relationship developed once he was stripped of his memory was well beyond his expectations.

QY disguised himself as Yun Qing a promising genius to hide from the Dao. He must recover his soul source at all cost yet is confronted with some hard truths about his parents that he missed in his first life. Some help from his lover and the original person (?) in charge of the rules help him seize back control.
