Oh man. I don't want to believe that Ido is dead. Desty says he can bring him back and that Ido is still his patient, so he tells Alita that he'll still do it. I really hope he comes back. Almost everyone who was close to Alita is dead or now hates her for what "she caused". Zapan has destroyed the Kansa bar in search of her and Desty says that her battle against him is inevitable since that's her karma. He says she created her own enemy and now she's questioning if that's true, but that's bullshit. In a fit of rage, Alita "kills" Desty and his assistants, but due to having restorer nanobots in their body, they're able to self heal and come back before truly dying since their injuries were not grave enough to come back from.
Zapan is able to shape shift parts of his body, which allows him to fly. When he showed up to Kansa, Murdock tries to kill Zapan by suicide bombing the building. Zapan of course survives and flies off before Alita arrives to see what has transpired.
