It's a nice little story to pass the time. Nothing groundbreaking, but not everything has to be. Nice, respectful ML and an MC who doesn't want me to rip my hair out. The relationship between the biological and adopted families are good, which I like, so there isn't much of the usual drama you'd expect out of a lost-child-when-young plot. Overall a typical showbiz story of Film Emperor x Newcomer. Understandable MTL.Spoiler
However, the antagonist (honestly not much of one, since the focus is very much on the romance) is still the adopted son, which was a bummer. We don't get much insight into his reasons, not even if it's just that he doesn't want to be replaced by the biological son, which was a pity. It's worse because he's the actually transmigrated person so I think his POV could've added to the story, for example by comparing the story he read to what MC thought would happen to their current life. Maybe this is why I really like the last extra, which is an alternate universe where MC wasn't kidnapped, everyone's happy, and the adopted son was taken in by another family, where he's doing well for himself.
