I Became the Tyrant of a Defense Game Chapter 12 Discussion

I don't get it. Is everyone else on drug or something? Why so many impressed reviews?

MC, an ordinary modern person, is thrown to a magic world (from the tower defense game he was playing), and immediately acts like he belongs in the new world he's in, feels responsible for deaths he had nothing to do with, concocts plans, gives passionate life and death speeches, and burns himself to save everyone just like that.

It felt weird, as if chapter 1 was using characterisation of the MC from chapter 100.

So like I said, I don't get the hype, it's not good.
