Alita is making her debut in second league and it looks like she's chosen Ayda to join her Challenger's team. He introduces a few of his pupils to give her options to join the team.

The majority of this chapter is introducing new characters that Alita will face in her upcoming debut match. The one character that seems the most interesting is Zafal, a woman with extreme speed and agility that catches Alita off guard as they pass by each other. Alita is getting fired up and Jasugun is watching her on TV to see what she's got. At the end of the chapter, Jasugun asks Ido if he's going to come watch her match, but he declines. He then asks Ido why he's trying to hide "it", meaning his relationship with Alita. Jasugun tells Ido that he's not blind and he can clearly see that they use to be close. He goes on to ask him what kind of game he's playing at now. I wonder what Ido has to say for himself?
