If this novel did not have the violent knight with very little depth to her character and the priestess that keeps whining for no valid reason, this would be a 3/5 because the MC is decent in character.The novel keeps trying to conceal things to build suspense but the reveal is not timed well, so it falls flat. The setting does not have that charm or depth to it either. The magic system is barely there as a plot device but it does not get expanded upon even after an entire arc.This novel just seems a tad bit lost about what it wants to be.
