I would say the translation is good, but that would be a lie. Honestly, I think the translator is either1) Chinese, because there were so many cultural Chinese things/words that wasn’t translated and it’s just echoing in my head without any help. I’m not getting it more than I originally would in my first-time reading. There are some words I could guess, though. Like, ‘The novel DXC wore’ probably means ‘the novel he transmigrates into’ 🤔 So I guess they probably just read their own translation and thought it made sense... or 2) a Chinese learner. Using google translate and the things which are left untranslated is the things that they, too, don’t know what it means 😭I mean yeah I read it side-to-side with google translation and I get the general meaning, but it wouldn’t help clarify much from the google translation. I just do it cuz I have free time now 🫠The synopsis had me hooked, though. Let’s hope I can stick around for a few more chapters before my headache kills me.
