Solid story - read all the translated chapters as of this review. More like a 4/5 but I'm making it 5/5 to weight the rating haha

MC is OP, but this story is less about him trying to Be the Very Best and more about him living his everyday life. We know that he's not going to have any problems he can't get out of with his magic, but we aren't here to read about him boringly annihilate armies. We're here to read about him figuring out how the world has changed since he died and eating snacks.

Slow on the romance - as of chapter 72, no developments. People seem to assume the ML likes the MC without much evidence for it. It's true, but the ML has not realized his feelings nor has he shown any outward signs of having romantic feelings for the MC. People seem to assume he likes the MC because the plot requires that they think that way. MC likes the ML a lot but hasn't shown especially strong interest in an actual relationship - like he wouldn't be opposed to the ML but wouldn't consider having a romantic relationship with him on his own. Basically the romance isn't the focus of this story so don't expect much.

A reincarnation story, but the MC is reincarnated in the same world he's from, so it's not isekai. If you like isekai series you'll probably like this one though. Slice-of-life, world-building heavy. Again, romance isn't a focus. Writing is simple, with could be a pro or a con depending on your personal preference, but it makes the story a light read. If you like the genre it's worth checking out.
