I Bring the Game into Reality! Chapter 98 Discussion

I think I've been spoiled rotten by Game of the World Tree.

This novel in comparison is not as interesting, with minimal character traits assigned to each 'main' character.

The MC... his motivations are hard to understand except for the reason of 'i want power to have more power'. like ??? He also adapts to this in such a short amount of time and has basically no qualms with killing everyone else. He's... chaotic for the sake of chaos. No further reason is given.

Despite the pace being relatively slow, everything feels like it moves way too quickly? Like even though they only finished floor 1 by the chapter I'm on, the sheer amount of events happening squishes everything into a short time frame. Some people may like the faster pace, but not me.

As previously stated, the characters are so flat and two dimensional that if they turned to the side I wouldn't be surprised if they disappeared.

Vengeful regressor guy

Evil guy

Evil crony number 1

Police hero guy

(Evil) God MC guy

Those are all the important ones I can recall from the top of my head, plus all the side characters. You can guess who they are. It's pretty obvious (except for evil crony guy cause he looks like the evil guy at the beginning).

I can't find any humongous plot holes to mention, but I'll add some teeny tiny ones.

What the hell does he mean by making a fake tower to put in a game when he hasn't even finished the goddamn third level? And if he can't even do that, WHY CAN HE JUST MAKE AN ENTIRELY NEW MAGIC SYSTEM that, might I add, HAS TO NOT CONTRADICT THE RULES HE HAD PREVIOUSLY PLACED. I'm really tired of the 'oh he's a great god he can do anything basically instantly!!' THEN FINISH YOUR GAME BEFORE YOU RELEASE IT. He can make lore that apparently is oh so smart and NPCs 'that are basically real people!!!' (honestly they're just glorified info dumps)

I know. It is to add stakes. So that he makes things harder. But it's so unnecessary that I want to throttle him.

TLDR: chaotic evil god MC screws around with the world for no reason.
