I am just going to get straight into it with the review
- Career path won't see much progression because MC would have to work under ML for most of the novel because he doesn't understand modern technology and thus need to learn by his side. Therefore he won't have his own company etc. I was a bit disappointed with this because I thought he would take over the broken down company, using his new identity and face slap everyone
- MC will transmigrating with his own body, which doesn't usually the case with novels, so there' going to be room to be explored there of how that's going leave suspicions.
- ML is a giant jerk for the 1/4 of the novel, I hated him but he got much better once he got the feelings going.
- MC's past is emotional but the thing is we don't get too much of it, there was lack of flashbacks, his backstory of infiltrating the Japanese side was interesting but we don't get to know much, but it was still emotional especially when he revisit old places and see old relics of the past, also seeing the new changes in the modern day
- Villains are ML's side of the family bunch of **** they don't play a big role till later
- MC and ML are both workholics so we spend alot of the time seeing them talk about work, going to meetings, presentations, and spent alot of the time at the work place.
- MC and ML are both mature adults but both innocent in first love, so it was kinda refreshing to see their contrasts. They support each other, there's no misunderstandings but just love
- There was alot of Buddhism involved in the novel, also Rebirth talks, I thought ML was one of the childhood sweethearts of MC who was reborn into the modern world. You know how he was first there to meet MC at the hospital also finding the necklace that sank into the sea.
- I kinda wish that one of the relatives of MC would still be alive to add more emotional drama
- Alot of poems and chinese phrases that was really hard to understand, MC is a olden day scholar I don't blame him, does add romanticism and flashy points.
- The romance is like coworkers who appreciate each other and fell in love
