Mostly writing this review due to how many people seem to not understand how societies develop, and how the haves are separated from have-nots.

That being said I would still only give this three stars out of five.

One star is gone because while the writing is competent, the translator tend to miss pronouns and titles on the regular, causing confusion.

It loses another star for "MC Doormat Syndrome" in which the main character generally does not react as one would expect to violence being done upon them or strangers/enemies. It is quite irksome to have a character beat the MC within an inch of death and its waved off "because she is cute". Furthermore, taking actions that lead to the deaths of hundreds if not thousands, and almost never reflect upon it.

As for for the whole "men are breeding stock" premise of the story, first off its what it says on the tin. If you come here expecting something else, well that's on you. In my opinion, while it still has glaring holes and isn't perfectly explained, I do think the setting is a reasonable explanation of what would happen if only women had magic, but men was what decided that magical ability limited to a medieval time period.

I could go on about how societies are formed around those who has power and resources, but that a lesson in critical thinking that some people have skipped over in life.

This series does involve a bit of turning off your brain to be enjoyable, but ultimately it is good junk food. If you cannot handle the idea of men not being in control of the world, nor taking control from female oppression, this is not a story for you.
