I'll give them a pass for early on in the series when he's basically a dried up corpse, and it's not like the topic is ignored entirely. Lent muses that being mostly dead for a while has killed his libido of late, so maybe he just needs some time. Apparently he's always been pretty dull when it comes to the opposite s*x.
[collapse]The actual chronological pace of the series is pretty slow as well. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think more than 3 or 4 months have passed since the start of the series (394 chapters). The upload rate of the web novel has slowed in the past year, possibly as a result of the manga and light novel adaptions?Other things to note, not a harem and MC is not OP (yet). Guild girl certainly likes him, but she doesn't seem like she can compare with Lorraine. Is he OP? SpoilerHe's a heretofore unknown vampire variant that only requires a minuscule amount of blood to sate his cravings (less than 1/20th or 1/30th a typical vampire), has no weakness to Seiki or other holy type abilities, has complete poison immunity, has wings which allow for limited magical flight, can use Seiki which is considered impossible for any undead type creatures. In addition, vampires have a vastly increased mana pool, and his ki and seiki have grown as well as he evolves.
[collapse]Relationship: SpoilerLent and Lorraine go to his hometown in order to find out more about the small shrine he gained his Seiki blessing from. Everyone there basically assumes she's his fiancee, and while she certainly welcomes the idea, Lent also doesn't really try to correct their misunderstanding.
