This story can be summarized and defined in a single statement: it is art. The translation is impeccable; the translator put effort and love into every chapter. The novel itself is wonderful; it's a xianxia with a more philosophical and poetic touch, yet at the same time, it's fun, funny, and light. The characters are all very different from each other, lively and interesting, but the true crown jewel is the protagonist, who starts off ignorant about everything involving the world and cultivation but gradually becomes the wise person everyone thinks he is. Overall, there aren't enough compliments to define the quality of this story and the quality of this translation. Read it!
