Deliverance of Counterattack Chapter 1 Discussion

I started to read the manga because the drawings are good and there is a cute bun so despite the awful translation I read it. And because of the bad English, I also skipped a lot of pages and only focused on the ML and MC parts.

And then I thought maybe the translation of the actual novel is better than the manga, I didn't even manage to read a whole chapter, the translation is as bad as the manga, even worse. It's obviously machine translated.
