Elqueeness Chapter Completed Discussion

I absolutely love this novel, though honestly I did cry a bit at certain moments. I love the dynamic between the characters and how they react to the various events that occurred in the story.

Spoiler

some may not consider the ending to be a happy one (though I just find it to be bittersweet) since Kanos ends up dying, as does Lapis (though he reincarnates as a god, but in the process it leads to El traveling to the past, and Lapis's parents felt a great deal of self blame for his death), El not being able to see Isana and all his other human friends grow up and not even being able to see them before they died, finding out Kanos (Noel) is cursed after reincarnating even though he sacrificed himself. However we do get to see Lapis (after reincarnating as a god) meet his parents again and understand what they are going through (he does comfort them in his own way), we meet Isana's reincarnation and El seems to plan on contracting with him again, and El and Elrien and Kanos plan on finding the main god and waking him so he may lift the curse on Kanos (honestly I so so so so sooooo want to see a sequel on their adventures while doing that, like I feel like there would be so much that can happen and I WANT TO KNOW!!!)
