At first, I read this thinking it's your typical academy romcom. Then you realized the world the MC lives in isn't your typical magical world. I can see why some of the reviewers give this a low rating. They didn't read far enough and wasn't patient enough.The author lures you into this novel expecting a typical light hearted romcom and mild mystery. And then suddenly violence, gore, and horror starts out of the blue. Then back to romcom and light school age fun. And then back to horror filled fights. The discordance between the two leaves the reader with whiplash wondering WTH happened.The novel is unique and interesting to read. I am giving this 5 star just for the uniqueness of this novel. You won't find anything else like it. However, it has tremendous potential not tapped. But considering this is only 200 chaps or so, there is no way to fully build the story into a 1K chapter epic.
