Ranking: 3.5/5Usually I don't write a review unless I finish a novel, have reached the last chapter available, am dropping the novel or putting it on hold. For this one, I am still debating which one of the later two options it is.Thing is, the novel itself is okay, the plot seems good so far. What made me stop reading is the MC. Holy sh**, he annoys me. No idea where the clever protagonist tag comes from since he was almost scammed twice in the last few chapters alone. Dude seems to lack common sense which is kinda excusable since he was held isolated like a canary in his previous guild. But his ignorance and gullibleness still annoys the hell outta me, especially when it is paired with his inflated ego that is a result from being the best potion master before he died and switched bodies. He also has low low EQ and has straight male cancer which he often shows through angry rants containing curses and vulgar speech, a thing I especially dislike. He stubbornly verbally attacks people even when he is in a weaker position compared to his opponent, disregarding any bad consequences his outbursts could have. Other reviews have talked about the potential MLs being annoying, but for me the MC is currently the most problematic. I keep imagining him as a tiny chihuahua barking at a giant doberman when dealing with Seong San-ha.Someone tell me, does the MC get less annoying? I really need to know to decide whether I wanna subject myself to more of this.
