So I've read all chapters up to the most recent one and I love this story to hell and back. As others have said "TCF is really well-planned and well-thought novel.", this is why you should give it a try and not drop it after 10 chapters.

The thing that makes me sad is that people drop this or don't read it because of, call it misconceptions, misunderstandings, or whatever you want.

The meaning of me writing this review is to clear up some misconceptions about this web-novel such as:

1. The main character (Cale Henituse) is s*upid, lazy, OP and uninterested in life.

- In fact, he is really smart and ambitious to live his "slacker life" and the OP'ness will be explained along the way

Spoiler

He has an ability that allows him to remember everything he reads, that is a power he got from the earth before he was thrown into TCF

2. "He is too smart" or "he remembers everything which makes him spoil the story".

-There is a reason why Cale knows the original story "The Birth of a Hero" which will be explained later in the novel and I won't write it bec spoiler... Cale only knows the story up until the 5 volume which is passed quickly around ch 300 and the story won't get boring just bec he knows the events that are about to hit. The fact that he is constantly changing the storyline makes the events unknown to both him and us readers which ends earlier than around ch 300, in fact he changes the storyline the moment he decides to not fight Choi-han.

3. Lack of feelings and emotions from the main character.

- That is Cales style, he shows very subtle signs of emotions, and sometimes it is required to read between the lines to understand or read/see it from the other character's pov (Pint of view).

4. Lack of romance

- Yes, this is not a romance so don't look for that. Instead, engulf yourself in the fluffy family love and the very strong bond between the characters.

5. "It progresses too slow"

- Yes it is slow but if it were rushed we wouldn't understand everything, the arcs are long yes but they are well thought.

Sorry for the rant, but I think it is necessary to at least try to read TCF without any judgmental thoughts or sky-high expectations because it may not be everyone's cup of tea and that is okay. But it is not okay to label this novel as "bad" just because you were too lazy to understand the full meaning of the novel.

Spoiler

So, the author-nim just dropped (in the latest chapter of now ch 645) some hints that point to a slow but stealthy beginning to the end of this story

I absolutely love this story and I hope you will too💜
