T*ash of the Count’s Family Chapter 4 Discussion

Don't know if it's the translator's or the writer's fault, but the prose is so devoid of emotion it could petition to be the driest place on Earth.

He could not think about anything else while food was in front of him. He could not even prevent the admiration that was flowing out of his mouth.
