This is a charming adventure/comedy/fantasy/action/fluff series that is good for some lighthearted reading. The MC is funny and charismatic, and, as some reviewers have said, can even be classified as a tsundere. He says he only wants a peaceful life and wants to be lazy, but he works hard to make a good life and to take care of his people. He says he's heartless and doesn't like certain things, but he still takes care of those in need while pretending he has no feelings for him. Even when he realizes he's gotten on the path of what he might consider a main character to be, he still continues his actions without looking back.His companions adore him despite his cold demeanor, and it's really cute to watch. Although there is drama related to the plotline, it's not focused on the MC seeking revenge at all cost or going mad or anything like that.If you're wanting a fun shounen read full of action, adventure, and cute critters, this is a fun one to check out.
