Review

This novel somewhat interesting, but average at best. Its definitely overrated by a sh*t ton. I would have given it three stars, but I'm giving it 2 stars to balance out the overrated-ness. I thought it was boring when I first read it, but then I reread it, and I thought 'well maybe its not all that bad'. The MC Cale, is a reluctant (tsundere) hero, who meddles with every big problem in the novel and scams everyone he meets right after stating that he wants to live a quiet life with no trouble. The plot is slow and gets repetitive at times. This was what threw me off the first time I read it. I'm the type of person who likes a fast paced story that doesn't waste words, so if you don't like slow-paced plot stories, this novel probably isn't for you. I think whether you like this novel or not depends solely on your personal tastes, but its not for me.
