This novel is slow paced, with little conflict aside from the first 20-30 chapters, and up to this point relies on selling cute scenes and occasional comedy, most of which are at the expense of MC's family members for good fun. Author stands to build a solid framework for childhood sweethearts, so the feeling is of watching kids grow up happily. The issue of conflict is quite pronounced. Initially, it's all about the harshness of peasant life and living with relatives that exert all their power to oppress you, accentuating the hopelessness of a transmigrator with no skills and that genuinely misses home more than anything. During this time, MC is also heavily focused on the system task. The system itself is irrelevant, it gives nothing and serves only to stir up the MC towards a direction. After this issue is dealt with, there's nothing that presses MC, and this contrast between high intensity survival and slow paced slice of life is a strange mix. MC faces no hardships.I'll come back when I've read more.
