Excellent novel, I was fearing it was just slice of life diabete stuff, but it has interesting things going on, and while looking like a shoujo at first glance, it isn't one.Pro
- The MC is intelligent, very capable, and more mature than his age. I'm sick of stories where MCs are supposed to be reincarnated as adults and yet reacts like teens to everything. So other female character falling in love with him, or other character admiring him, make sense in the context.
- The cast is all very good, the main girl is also capable, and her obvious love for the MC is adorable.
- Political schemes are interesting to follow, and everyone behaves with multiple layers of hidden meanings, properly explained by the narration.
- Chapters are long and well translated, very good in fact, so no ridiculous Japanese words left for s*upid reasons.
- The beginning is a little slow.
- IMO this needs slightly more chapter with the pov of another character.
- The past of the MC is hardly explained.
- The world he is in lacks substance outside of where he lives and the kingdom it's set.
