I am a simple man, with only a few iron clad rules due to long years of reading stories. Understandable grammar (the minimum), interesting idea, and logical plot. This novel managed to garner my interest with its idea, made me stay due to good grammar (albeit bad in some parts), and filled my time with enjoyable logic, though expect the world building to happen throughout the story instead of in the beginning.Jiang Chen tried to be a good person for 9 lifetimes, yet the world kept denying him, instead turning him into a villain, whether it be through the protagonist or the world influencing people's mind. On his 10th life, he decided to embrace his villain role but I guess the world threw him a bone because you have people who wronged him start to remember the past lives. Your usual trope with the obvious "I won't tell the MC I remember", though this time there is a logical reason to not tell, resulting in funny situations in my eyes.
