What starts out as a typical brainless, faceslapping, harem collecting, revenge plot... well it's still a brainless, faceslapping, harem collecting, revenge plot. But it's very different from those novels. What sets it apart is this is basically a parody of those novels, the novel so far is aware of all those cliches and tropes and makes fun of it. The Main Character (MC), can sneeze and five different characters will accuse that sneeze of being a demonic ritual. Each chapters gets more and more absurd until you become aware that the author isn't pretending he's writing Journey to the West, the author is writing comedy.I'd say give this novel a lot of patience, it's not what you think. Yet it still requires the reader to endure repetitive writing and brainless characters. I liken this novel a little to Library of Heaven's Path. I'm interested to see how the author will continue with the story since the current Main Villain is practically dead at this point.
