Finished reading via mtl, it’s a good series if you enjoy the Taoism and spirit ass kicking, but even later on there is minimal fluff. The ML’s character doesn’t get developed much, and their relationship isn’t explored too deeply. The focus isn’t really on the romance, and it’s more of a side add on.
