First, let me say this is not meant to be a revenge story. There is some revenge but this is not The Count of Monte Cristo, and the Van is so twisted even his understanding of revenge is strange.This is an epic dark fantasy with lots of badass action, grey-and-grey morality, bizarre comedy and a very diverse cast. It's also very optimistic since it makes fun of the concepts that make it "dark".A couple of downsides is that it starts very slow, picking up the pace after after two-three arcs; and that it has so many characters you're forgiven to forget they exist or that they are present at a particular scene, but almost everyone kicks some ass.
